Johnathan Allen
Mr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Tennessee. He has extensive experience providing support services to students and families, with a focus on attendance interventions, connecting families to community resources, and fostering student well-being. This is his 13th year serving as a School Social Worker with Knox County Schools.
Mr. Allen is passionate about building strong partnerships between families, schools, and community agencies to ensure every student has the support needed to succeed academically and socially. He also brings his dog, Willow, to school as an additional resource for students. Willow provides emotional support, comfort, and encouragement, helping students manage stress and feel more connected at school.
Mr. Allen will be serving West Valley Middle School on Tuesdays and Fridays this year.
