About Us
Located in Board of Education District 5 and KCS Region 1, West Valley Middle School has proudly served the West Knoxville community since its opening in 1999.
West Valley Middle School strives to inspire students to be resourceful, respectful, and responsible citizens by providing a challenging and safe learning environment for all students. We aim to engage students in deep learning through research-based, data driven instructional practices.
In alignment with the Knox County Schools vision and mission to grow lifelong learners who contribute their talents, strengths, and skills to build a stronger community, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, student-centered learning environment that fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and effective communication among students, teachers, support staff, families, and community members.
